নিয়ত ডুবে' আছো
আমি করি তব ধ্যান-উপাসনা
অহরহ যাচি তোমারই করুণা
আঁখিজলে বলি দূরে থাকিও না
কেন মোরে একা রেখেছো
তুমি ছাড়া মোর আর কেহ নাই
প্রাণের আবেগ যাহাকে জানাই
কুহেলী কারায় দিশাহারা তাই
ছায়ায় নাচিয়া চলেছো
Translation
You have forgotten me.
Amid the many, with the work of many people,
You're immersed perpetually.
I perform Your meditation and devotions;
Always I beseech only Your compassion.
In tears I say: Please don't remain afar;
Why have You retained me unaccompanied?
Absent You I have no one else;
I make known what is heart's uneasiness.
It's only I'm directionless, in a misty prison cell,
While in shadow You have gone on dancing.
