নোতুনেরি দিগ্বলয়ে
বৃন্দাবনের বনে বনে
মাতন মাখিয়ে মলয়ে
বিশুষ্ক কদম্বতরু
গোষ্ঠ হয়েছিলো মরু
যমুনা শুকায়েছিলো
কানুণু ছিলো না হৃদয়ে
ভালবেসেছিলো যারা
স্থাণু হয়েছিলো তারা
আজি হলো আত্মহারা

Translation
Arrived today the Kanu lost,
With vista of the new only...
At the groves of Vrndavan aplenty,
Having coated revelry on a mild breeze.
The kadam tree is wizened;
Grazing land had become a desert.
And the River Jamuna had evaporated;
Inside heart Kanu had not been.
The ones who had loved,
To a standstill they had come.
But today they lost aplomb,
Having gotten their Beloved at dwelling.
