ওগো প্রভু আমায় ফেলে'
ডাকছি এত শোণ না তো
বিমুখ কেন বিরূপ হলে
আলোর মাঝে তুমি আছ
কালোয় তুমি মিশে' গেছ
সব কিছু ভরে' রয়েছ
আমায় দেখা নাহি দিলে
রূপের নাহি পরিসীমা
গুণের তোমার নাই উপমা
উদার বিভু করো ক্ষমা
আমার সকল ত্রুটি ভুলে'
Translation
Going far, You went off where,
Oh my Lord, forsaking me?
So much am I calling, don't You listen?
Face averted, why did You become displeased?
Mid effulgence You exist,
But with ebon You have gone and mixed.
Filling everything, You have lingered;
But You did not show before me.
Of forms there's no utmost circumference,
But they have no likeness to Your aspects.
Noble God, please grant forgiveness,
Disregarding all my failings.
