দিন চলে' যায় তব কৃপায়
ভালবাসো না-বাসো কাছে আস না-আসো
নিয়ত রেখেছো স্মিত ছায়ায়
ধরায় এসেছি গো করিতে তব কাজ
সতত সেজে' থাকি দিয়েছো যে সাজ
বাহিরে ভিতরে মরমে গভীরে
আমার আমি নাচে তব দোলায়
সহিতে পারি না তোমাকে ভুলে' থাকা
জন্ম-স্থিতি-লয় যাহার মনে আঁকা
যাহার স্পন্দনে নূপুর রণনে
বেঁচে' থাকার গীতি ভেসে' যায়
Translation
In just Your recollection, in just Your conception;
Days, they go away by Your grace.
Whether You love or not, close You come or not,
Ever under smiling umbra You've maintained.
Oh I've come to the world to perform Your deeds–
You've given me the means; I stand always ready.
Externally and within, at inmost part in heart,
My ego dances in Your rocking cradle.
I can't bear remaining forgetful of Thee–
Start, stay, and finish of what is traced on psyche,
With its vibration, its ankle-bell sonation,
Living's song continues, on it sails.
