তোমার তরে কত ব্যথা
তুমি জানো না কি
মধুমাসে বসে' কাঁদি
তমসাতে থাকি
শান্তি খুঁজি কাল-সায়রে
দীপ্তি খুঁজি অন্ধকারে
প্রীতি যাচি মরুপাথারে
যা' চাই তা' না দেখি
আদি-অন্তহীন এ লীলায়
আমি কেন অবহেলায়
ভাবের ঘরে দ্বৈত খেলায়
লুকোনো যাবে কি
Translation
Due to You there's so much pain;
Don't You realize?
At the month of springtime waiting I cry;
In the dark I abide.
On the sea of time, I search for peace;
In the gloomy darkness a light I seek.
From a desolate ocean love I beseech;
I don't see what I desire.
In this cosmic play lacking both start and end,
Why am I neglected?
