পথের শুরু খুঁজে’ পাইনি
পথের শেষও জানি না
তোমায় ভেবে’ শেষ পাইনি
তোমার সীমাও মানি না
হে চিন্ময় পুরুষ তোমারে
কেহ কখনও না বর্ণিতে পারে
মুখরতা আসে লাজে ফিরে ফেরে
ভাব ভাষা বলে অজানা
যে বকুলবীথি পুষ্পে বিছানো
তোমার শিশিরে রয়েছে ভিজানো
তোমার স্মৃতিটি নয়ন-জুড়ানো
রেখে’ গেছ করে’ করুণা
Translation
Having sought I did not find the path's outset;
And I also do not know the path's conclusion.
While musing on You, I found no end;
Your limit too I do not acknowledge.

No one can ever describe or represent.
Speech arrives, then goes back again in shyness;
Unknown are both thought and language.
That bakul avenue with flowers strewn,
It has remained saturated with Your dew.
This eye-soothing souvenir of You,
