তন্দ্রা-জড়িমা ছিল আঁখিপাতে
ধরণী সিক্ত ছিল বৃষ্টিপাতে
তুমি এসেছিলে আলো-আঁধারিতে

On eyelids was drowsiness-fatigue;
Earth was drenched with rain falling.
You had come, light in the darkness,
