Dáṋŕi májhi sabi ámi
Naoko báṋdhár guńo t́áni
Báṋo mápiteo bhálai jáni
Dekhe náo ná parakha kari

গানেরই স্রোতের টানে
ভাসিয়ে দিলুম সোণার তরী
(তোমরা) কে যাবে গো সঙ্গে আমার
এগিয়ে এসো ত্বরা করি

ভেড়ে না নাও সব ঘাটেতে
যাকে তাকে মানাও নিতে
এক মনে যে চাইছে শরণ
তাকেই ডাকি কণ্ঠ ভরি

দাঁড়ি-মাঝি সবই আমি
নৌকো বাঁধার গুণও টানি
বাঁও মাপিতেও ভালই জানি
দেখে’ নাও না পরখ করি

Borne on a stream of songs alone,
I've set afloat the golden boat.
All you who would go with Me,
Come forward now, come speedily.

This boat stops not at every quay;
You who proceed, please do take heed.
Who seek refuge with one-pointed mind,
Them only I invite full-throatedly.

Oarsman and helmsman, both am I;
I also haul boat-anchor lines.
Also to plumb fathoms I know it well...
