আকাশ-বাতাস আবেশে ভরা
চাঁদের হাসি স্বপন আনে
আজিকে মধুমাসে মলয় বাতাসে
উতলা হিয়া শুধু তোমারে মানে
মধুর কূজনে মনের বিজনে
মিশাও প্রাণেতে আমার প্রাণে
(আজ) সরায়ে সব বাধা ভুলিয়া হাসা-কাঁদা
(তোমার) প্রাণের সুরে সাধা তুষিবো গানে

Who are You that in my mind appeared;
In what part hard-to-reach had You been hiding?
The sky, the air, they're filled with ecstasy;
The moon's smile, it yields fantasy.
Today, with a gentle Chaitra breeze,
My restless heart heeds only Thee.
By sweet whispers in a mind that's lonely,
With my heart Your heart keeps company.
Now, casting off all ties, ignoring laughter and tears,
Through song practiced in Your heart's tune, I will please.
