তোমারে পেয়েছি প্রাণের শোণিতে

You alone have I loved,
Time after time...
In many births, in many forms,
With many names, so many times.
By the colored splendor of morning's sun,
With my lifeblood I've attained Thee.
I've seen You in heart's privacy,
Sweeping away obstacles, the burden of affliction.
When I was drunk on blind attachment's wine,
Though gaining You close by, I did not see.
Forgetting You, I've been crazed by unreal things,
But You have broken those illusions mine.
