রঙীন মেঘে হাতছানি দেয়
ঘরে থাকা আর কি যায়
মনের ময়ূর কলাপ মেলে
নীলাকাশে নাচতে চায়
বাঁধনভাঙার গান আজি গাই
সীমার রেখা রাখতে না চাই
সসীম ছেড়ে অসীম পানে
কোন সুদূরে মন যে ধায়
সে যে আমায় সদাই ডাকে
রঙীন মেঘের ফাঁকে ফাঁকে
এড়িয়ে যেতে পারি না তাকে
এ কী হলো বিষম দায়
Translation
Through colored clouds He beckons;
How long can one stay inside?
Mind's peacock, tail outspread,
Wants to dance neath azure sky.
Now I sing of breaking fetters;
I don't tolerate delimitation.
From finite to infinite,
No matter how far, the mind races.
It is He Who calls me constantly
From above the colored clouds.
I can't go on ignoring Him;
My need was beyond every bound.
