On sorrow's day, my bosom friend,
Hope of a life despondent,
Enveloping Your reverie,
Suffused is my fondness.
To walk the path I recall Thee;
I witness You through the eye's tears.
By Your wealth, the mind pervading,
Psyche's fog You expel.
Breath in and out is per Your will;
By Your kind grace thought's honey is.
