বিদ্যা-বুদ্ধি-বল আর্থিক সম্বল
কিছু ধরিতে না পারে হায়

কিছুই নাহিক যার জাগতিক উপচার
মান-সম্মান-যশ-প্রতিভার সমাহার
সেও তোমারে পেয়ে যায়

শত তীর্থযাত্রা দান-দক্ষিণাতে
মনের কালিমা নাহি পারে সরাইতে
নিজেরই আঁধারে সে হারায়

Via Your kindness attaining succeeds...
Master, by way of Thee.
Strength of learning-and-intellect, financial assets,
Alas, none of that can reach.

Those who have no mundane articles of worship,
Or store of fame, prestige, praise, or cleverness,
Yourself, even they go and receive.

By giving to charity and hundred trips to shrines,
The mind's blemishes can't be excised;
In a darkness just their own, they go missing.
