চিরকালের বন্ধু
(নিকটে এসে') ঘুম ভাঙ্গিও
জড়েরই ভাবনায় যদি মেতে' থাকি
জাগিয়ে দিও

কিছুই তোমার অজানা নাই
রন্ধ্রে রন্ধ্রে আছো সদাই
তোমায় ভুলে' জড়ে হারাই
টেনে' পথে আনিও

অনাদি অশেষ এ লীলায়
তোমায় খোঁজা হয়ে ওঠে দায়
ভ্রান্তি কিছু দেখতে না দেয়
তুমি দীপক জ্বালিও

Abiding Friend for all time,
Coming near, break my sleep.
When I stay whelmed by worldly thought,
Kindly do awaken me.

Unknown to You there is naught;
You are ever in each pore.
Ignoring You, in static matter I get lost;
Unto the path please drag me.

Amid this liila without start or finish,
Having been in search of You, how hard it is!
Delusion gives not a glimpse;
Oh You, ignite a lantern please.
